Over 30 years of experience in facility and site planning, design, and construction industry with a diverse background in senior project and operations management involving areas of budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Professional registered civil engineer in over 20 states.Former Commander in the Air National Guard. Retired in September 2006 as a LtCol with 28 years of service. Last duty assignment was as Commander of the 180th Civil Engineering Squadron at Toledo Express Airport from Feb 1994 until retirement date. As unit Commander was responsible for overall unit leadership and management of 100 personnel. Unit mission focused on contingency engineering in support of aircraft operations, community actions and overseas deployments. Unit was comprised of fire protection, disaster preparedness (readiness), engineering, resources and operations management, equipment operations, mechanical, electrical, structural, and utilities branches. Served in multiple contingency roles as Director of Survival Recovery Center, Commander of Damage Control Center and as the lead Force Bed-down Planning Officer.
