Sonya Dufner is a Strategy Principal at Gensler. She currently serves on Gensler’s Client Relationship Management Committee where she collaborates with firm leadership to develop a comprehensive strategy for delivering service excellence to our global clients. A passion for research which has led her down a multidisciplinary path of real estate strategy and design. She leads transformative projects that explore the relationship between technology, experience and space for a diverse range of industry-leading clients.Sonya is a frequent speaker at events and conferences such as Worktech, Kayo, Social Media Week, The Future of Work and Play at Microsoft, NeoCon, the Global Coworking Conference, and more. Her projects and thought leadership haves been featured in national publications including Huffington Post, Entrepreneur, FastCo Design, Interior Design and the Wall Street Journal. She is an active member of CoreNet and the American Society of Interior Designers, in which she is a Fellow and a former board member. Sonya serves on the Advisory Boards for Rutgers University Customer Experience Program, the New York School of Interior Design, and she participates as a mentor in Real World Design Week. She was honoured as one of the foremost movers and shakers in the field for her work with Girls Education and Mentoring Services by PublicInterestDesign.org. Sonya holds a B.A. in Interior Design from Michigan State University.
