• Defined architecture for new ARM based Bluetooth IOT-attach MCU, with enhanced security deploying Trust zone-M and a security sub-system.
• Defined a low leakage wake-up function to accommodate and enhanced power management of the MCU to provide low power consumption for battery-based applications.
• Defined the architecture to incorporate a trust-zone for NXP’s next generation MCUs to enhance software security and incorporate a reliable “Over-The-Air” update backbone for IoT applications.
• Drove Analog IP development for 40nm devices, identifying key analog IP, specifying and engaging with analog design team to provide IP ahead of SoC development.
• Lead Systems Architect for 1st Cortex M33 ARM based MCU with 1MB RAM based MCU with multiple power supplies. Defined core voltage bypass mechanism to provide lower power operation in portable wearables market.
• Defined and implemented first ARM Cortex-CM7 based MCU for Industrial drives and power conversion Applications.( MKV5x family).

• Created and gained first VDE certification to IEC 60730-1 on S08/DSC periodic software routines for testing integrity of Flash, RAM, CPU registers & Watchdog for industrial safety.
• Technical Paper presented at Embedded World 2008 on making “appliances” safer detailing the requirements for MCUs for class B and Class C IEC 60730.
