In my role as Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary at NerdWallet Australia, I lead compliance and risk activities, including the application for and granting of the Company's AFSL and ACL. I established risk and compliance frameworks to support the Company's financial compliance and liquidity monitoring, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

Oversee and lead Humbli’s risk management activities as well as providing advice on strategic direction. A key part of my role is leading Humbli’s Australian Credit Licence application, including the establishment of risk and compliance frameworks.

Chairperson of the Brookfield State School, School Council. Brookfield State School is an Independent Public School located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Short term contract role, assisting the business and Liquidators through a pivotal restructure. Providing cashflow, 3 statement financial modelling and finance strategy expertise. Key Responsibilities included:- Oversee and lead the finance function of ATQ during its restructure program- Responsible for delivering monthly management reporting and analysis packs to the Board and Administrators- Oversee working capital management- Created and implemented complex three statement financial models- Led the implementation of the JobKeeper scheme at ATQ

Provided advice on strategic direction, financial forecasting, modeling and funding strategies. I undertook the role of finance lead on a $200m mixed use development, modelling investment returns analysis, building three statement financial models, assisting with the development of key management agreements, data room management and investor presentations.

Due to my transaction experience completing buy side and sell side due diligence, I was seconded to work on all of BOQ's major acquisitions and divestments during the course of my employment. Key transactions included:- Led the successful sale of a portfolio of distressed commercial real estate backed assets to a global investment bank in the role of lead project manager, resulting in a pivotal $150M restructuring of the Bank's commercial balance sheet assets.- Acquisition of Virgin Money Australia - Various roles including member of the due diligence team & interim project manager. Responsible for delivering the final paper to board recommending the transaction in conjunction with the sponsoring Group Executive.- Acquisition of Investec Medical and Professional Finance businesses: Various roles including member of the due diligence team & voting member of the Integration Steering Committee. $400M+ transaction with assets in excess of $2.0B. - Proposed confidential $100M+ loan book acquisition: Project lead.- Proposed confidential $1.0B+ loan book acquisition: Due diligence team member.

In this role I successfully led and managed the Credit Risk Assessment function at Bank of Queensland Limited across the Third Party, Proprietary and Virgin Money Australia distribution channels and was a member of the CEO's top 100 Leadership Team. This role was an operationally critical role for the organisation which required striking the right balance between asset growth and risk. This role required me to manage a multi-disciplined team of up to 22 staff across three states. I oversaw continuity of business operations nationally for the business function as well as overseeing the annual assessment and placement of retail assets on balance sheet worth $9.0Billion annually. Critical to the success of this role was managing the team through significant technology changes impacting underwriting processes as well as the rollout of underwriting activities for new products and brands such as Virgin Money Australia.

This role required me to oversee governance within the Agribusiness, Business Banking and Financial Markets Portfolios nationally including operational risk reporting, governance frameworks and commercial risk appetite frameworks. During my time in this role, I was selected as an acting Executive Manager to support the interim CEO during his successful transition to permanent CEO, undertaking and coordinating all monthly Board reporting and profit and loss analysis across the Executive Team on his behalf. I also held a number of Committee positions including Group Executive Business Bank Delegate for the Group Operational Risk Committee and General Manager Delegate of the Executive Credit Committee. During my time in the role I successfully identified deficiencies in some of the Bank's Commercial Loan Security Documentation, as a result of legislative changes, and established and led a project to remediate all issues.

Successfully led a team of turn around and workout specialists focusing on restructuring the Bank's commercial balance sheet assets.

Commenced as Manager Commercial and subsequently promoted to Head of Property and Commercial Solutions. The role subsequently became Senior Manager, Asset Management Group

In this role I successfully demonstrated key experience within restructuring, corporate finance, auditing and assurance. During my time at Ernst & Young I led the turn around and stabilisation of numerous business and real estate assets, completed buy side and sell side due diligence, provided advisory services and worked on the audit of a number of listed, unlisted and start-up companies. Whilst working on turn around engagements, I had responsibility for overseeing and implementing workout strategies to drive business value as well as implementing processes to improve working capital management, payroll, payables and receivables management. A key project was the successful stabilisation and turn around of an internationally branded resort with annual revenues in excess of $25Million.
