I am a development professional with 5 years of experience in coordination, programmes, advocacy, partnership and knowledge management. I have led/supported numerous gender equality and youth empowerment initiatives with regional impact.Some examples include-- I managed a multi- stakeholder team from AU, UN and government agencies from over 10 countries and coordinated a multimillion, multi-year flagship initiative on STEM and girl’s education, leading to its successful launch in 2022. - I have coordinated over 20 global/regional advocacy campaigns and about 15 policy dialogues championing gender and overarching development issues such as- education, GBV, climate change, WPS, meaningful youth participation etc...- As knowledge management lead, I have managed many multi-agency teams and led the production, publication and dissemination of over 10 regional knowledge products (reports, working papers, best practices, policy briefs and infographics).As an advocate I get particularly excited about working in spaces where I can forge as well as leverage partnerships to garner opportunities for gender and youth advocates to meaningfully engage ensuring intergenerational dialogues.
