A significant implementation OneStream replaced several consolidation and planning systems across Downer. Efficiency was assured by leveraging OneStream's 'extensible' functionality. This achievement was recognised at OneStream's 'Splash 2022' international conference with an award for the Power of the Platform.

Newcastle, Australia

A former subsidiary of Arrium, Moly-Cop, needed to migrate from SAP BPC to a new consolidation system within a very short time frame. With offices located in South and North America, as well as Australia and Indonesia, the system needed to be globally accessible on a unified platform, timely and easy to use. Duke led the first OneStream implementation in Australia to deliver the project in just over four months and 25% under budget.

Hong Kong

This HK satellite telecoms group needed to move from Excel to a more sophisticated BI tool to support their rapid growth. Duke designed and built an IFRS compliant consolidation and revenue analysis solution using Board’s BFC product. For most entities this was integrated with Speedcast’s ledgers to allow drill back to transactions. For smaller entities a CSV load process was built.

Duke designed and implemented a strategic planning application to predict student enrolments over the next 5 years, their spread across courses and the revenue expected to be associated with them. This used Hyperion Planning.

Duke redesigned and led the build of an enhanced consolidation application for CIMIC (Leighton) in Oracle HFM. This simplified the consolidation process in two ways. Firstly it supported data loads direct from ledgers in 51 formats across 208 entities. Secondly it automated several consolidation entries e.g. equity pick up for the owners of joint ventures and joint entities.

Duke was the team leader for Brambles’ international consolidation application. The solution is a combined management and statutory consolidation and reporting application in Oracle HFM. It is a rapid implementation incorporating representation of results in multiple FX views.
