Dulce Pixabaj(she/her) is a 23 year old Vegas local that has lived here for the past 10 years. A current university student majoring in Journalism with a minor in Film, Dulce hopes to become a film critic in the future. With a passion for film, television and the arts she wants her future to be full of creative projects of any kind, not just writing. With experience in podcasting, video making, social media, artistic crafts, and article writing, she hopes to try many more things in the future. While she intends to be a writer for a newspaper for now, anything can change and she is open to any opportunity that comes her way.Coming from a mixed Latin American family, and a child of immigrants, she is no stranger to tough goings and hard work. For her family to achieve the American Dream, it is her job to graduate college, a dream for many immigrant families. She is determined not to waste her parents hard work and make something incredible of herself. Her favorite pieces of media include the Star Wars franchise(but especially the Prequel Saga), anything to do with Batman, children’s animation, videogaming, and toy collecting. Darth Vader is her favorite character, The Batman Arkham Series is her favorite video game franchise, and her favorite books are the Artemis Fowl series. When not consuming shows and movies like food, she enjoys going to Disneyland, sewing cosplay, and baking.
