As a student, intern, and ambassador there have been various events and opportunities that have given me the ability to grow in both professional and personal levels. In a professional manner, it has been brought to my attention that I portray direct, creative, and strategic leadership roles. As a student I was given the opportunity to lead an organization by managing annual events, memberships, and developing a constitution to give it more structure. As an intern with the City of Huntsville, I was determined as a creative assistant that could construct program summaries, marketable flyers, and design content for calendars and websites. Furthermore, as an intern for Walker County’s District Attorney, I am gaining experience in analyzing legal proceedings and assessing what legal outcomes could result from the observations and annotations that I would obtain from such proceedings. In a more personal perspective, I have been able to show dedication, adaptivity, and supportive characteristics. As someone who remains consistent with a strong GPA in school, who remains confident in achieving goals like competitions and successful events through their organizational difficulties, and someone who is consistent in learning new skills while strengthening current ones; I am confident that my dedication to school, work, and my future is way above average. Since the world is constantly changing and has brought upon obstacles like a change in environments, new laws, or health; I have managed to adapt and understand that change can provide improvements to environments or it can expose new professional opportunities. Furthermore, caring for others is a key factor in my life. Whether it is at work, school, or within an organization, a healthy environment is where there is support and stability. Therefore providing a safe space for friends, coworkers, or organizational members is a key factor to successful interactions, projects, and outcomes. Last and foremost, as an ambassador I have been given the opportunity to gain the ability to work with a team, gain communication skills, grow confidence, gain leadership skills, become a representative, and pursue new positions through internships for more professional growth.
