Community Development Agency Oversee the funding and operation of over thirty not-for-profit CBO, public facilities and projects that receive grants from CDA. Ensure compliance of local, state and federal mandates, regulations, goals, objectives and budgets. Administer, review and evaluate assigned programs and projects. Monitor and Stay abreast with the operational process and regulatory changes of the CDBG and other government programs such as HOME, Restore NY, The Empire Zone and DHCR. Research and complete RFP and bids informing the public of available funding and grants opportunities. Review proposals and applications that are received with request for funding. Seek funding and complete funding application form County, State and Federal sources. Participate and provide support to commissions, committees and taskforce created by the Village, County, Town or State. Plan and organize community events. Monitor and provide technical support to a four unit micro-enterprise incubator.

Responsible for agency management, program operation, planning and implementation. Implementing and executing the Board of directors policies and initiatives. Supervise a full time staff of eleven employees, eight part time tutors and five volunteers. Seek funding opportunities and complete proposals. Asses community needs and develop programs that address these needs and would go in accordance with the Agency’s mission. Fiscal responsibility of the agency’s $200,000.00 budget and management of the Agency’s 16 rental units.
