The LSU AgCenter Food Incubator is a business incubator that specializes in developing emerging food ventures and providing technical services to existing and emerging companies. The Food Incubator provides services including a Shared-Use Processing Area, Microbiology Laboratory, Analytical Laboratory, and Sensory Evaluation Center. I am responsible for monitoring of all pilot plant equipment while following the Current Good Manufacturing Practices, conduct analysis on products manufactured at the Food Incubator such as pH, water activity, color, and titratable acidity. Involved in on-going R&D projects involving shelf life studies of products such as salad dressing, granola, and hot sauce
