I started my career in software development during college, in spring 2003. Since then it’s been a challenging and interesting journey from team member to team leader and then stepping into management. In my current role as head of demand management team at PSS-Prosoft Solutions I’m responsible for coordinating the company’s project and demand managers and also overseeing and managing international projects in retail.I’ve been exposed to international projects very early in my career, with customers from Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Philippines, Japan and I must say that this helped a lot to understand the complexity, challenges and various aspects of the business.Along the road I started to move the focus from technical areas and become very interested in personal development, coaching and team management. I learned that investing in your team will bring great returns and that you must constantly coach and support young people to make them reach their potential. I think that the workplace will change dramatically in the following years and the companies that want to succeed need to adapt quickly and understand that first of all they need to offer people a place to learn and grow.
