I am a specialist in material engineering and I have worked 32 years in this field. I have worked for 27 years in research and have experience in several fields such as materials engineering (foundry, thermal treatments, composite materials) and mechanical engineering. I have carried out both management and research activities in the field of castings and thermal treatments. I was ,for six years, general manager at the Research Institute for Hot Sectors. At present at UTTIS I work both as reasearch project manager and as a production manager. I am a European assessor and I participate annually in evaluations under FP7, Horizon 2020, Eureca-Eurostar, Steel and Coal and I have experience in running European funds projects.I am executive secretary of the Foundry Technical Association of Romania and editor of the Founding Magazine.
