Provide proactive security oversight for the 6th largest FedEx Ground Hub in the United States, which employees approximately 2,600 FedEx employees and contract service providers.Conduct and manage multiple short-term and long-term investigations related to employee misconduct, workplace violence, theft, ethics violations, elder fraud, and claims fraud. Conduct awareness sessions and training with operations to mitigate internal loss, workplace violence, employee misconduct, and customer service issues. Identified multiple gaps in the FedEx firearm recovery and shipping process and developed a multi-faceted corrective action plan. Collaborated with operations, legal, and security at multiple levels to revise numerous SOPs. Implemented the corrective action plan which increased the ship rate to 93%, and decreased the time recovered firearms remained in the FedEx network. Assist multiple Security groups with investigations by reviewing CCTV, conducting complex research, and conducting physical searches of multiple facilities. Provide guidance to dangerous good administrators and research agents to ensure firearm shipments are ATF compliant.Conduct shipment and transfer manifest audits to identify security and customer service gaps and develop and implement corrective action plans. Supervise, train, and coach contract security officers.

Conducted preliminary and final short-term investigations of a broad range of alleged and actual crimes.One of nine officers selected as an investigator in the Multi-Agency Gang Unit’s (MGU) first Gang Response Team (GRT).Analyzed daily and weekly crime statistical data and trends to plan and conduct targeted enforcement and interdiction operations. Made 115 felony arrests and recovered 24 firearms within the first 2 months of the GRT’s inception.
