Started on a short term contract in January to help reorganize the accounts department. Started a full time contract in February and responsible for the financial and management accounts. Assisting the Finance Manager with the reorganisation of the department and creating new processors to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts procedure.

Employed to resolve multiple issues within the finance department which have been successfully resolved. Responsible for all areas of the accounts for the company with two people reporting to me in the team. Set up several procedures that enables the directors/managers to be fully appraised of the profitability of the projects and built up a trusting relationship with HMRC, suppliers and customers. Also help with the general administrative procedures within the office departments.

Responsible for all areas of the accounts from Purchase Ledger, reconciling the balance sheet to analysis of profit and loss, identifying problems/ potential opportunities and implementing solutions to increase profit margin. Instrumental in business planning, contributing towards top line decisions with the Managing Director, Financial Director and Sales Manager. Full control of the company's cash, producing all cash and accounts forecasts and budgets. Developed and implemented procedures and tools to assist in performance throughout the finance, sales and customer operations functions. Developed relationships with HMRC and Invoice Financing to resolve historical issues and create trusting relationships, resulting in improving the company's cashflow. Created pivotal processes and procedures for stock management and stock availability, to assist the sales team and demand planning. Central in all types of audits, improving accuracy to 100%. Experienced in recruitment, managing and development of personnel.

Managed all day to day operations of the company including management of the plumbing engineers, enabling the owner to quote and design the projects. Responsible for engineer’s diaries, purchasing of materials, customer administration, wages, accounts and VAT.

Commenced in the production area, progress chasing and planning and quickly moved through the despatch/warehouse department, sales administration, transport and procurement and finally assisting with accounts. I was then requested to manage the transport/despatch department. Successfully improved the operations of several of the departments and was consistently requested to join/run the subsequent departments due to the positive impact made to the business.
