While my profile is somewhat unusual, spending almost a decade in professional rugby and subsequent years in private and public sector policy communications has given me a unique set of transferable skills and experience that can add significant value to any organisation. Armed with a strong background in relationship building, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, strategic planning and a range of other soft skills that are required to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure, goal-oriented environment, I recently transitioned to the area of medical device sales in Vancouver, where I moved in January 2023. I thrive in people facing roles that have clear and measurable short-term objectives, where I have frequent communication with, and feedback from, my management.
