• Lead the Process Development group with overall responsibility for all related department deliverables.• Represent the Process Development group on the US Development Center Leadership team.• Manage & Develop the Process Department’s personnel (Process Development Scientist & Interns).• Manage process department budget/expenses.• Design and Procure equipment needed to drive innovation and DoE research into new processes.• Identify/deliver/track departmental goals & milestones.

• Develop appropriate manufacturing processes for topical product dosage forms at the lab & pilot scale:o Identify critical process parameters.o Identify acceptable process ranges/conditions.o Provide & recommend final processes to be transferred to manufacturing.o Author Pilot Scale Batch Records. • Complete stability trial in accordance with FDA standards and track specifications through full trial• Provide expertise in early concept development and feasibility evaluation by working with consumer insights, science innovation and marketing team. • Skillfully communicate the process limitations and key watchouts related to product formulations to effectively influence formula decisions, product design and claim substantiation.

• Manage multiple interns and train new engineers to ensure they have a smooth transition into the role.• Lead multiple US and global development projects at different stages of the product life cycle to launch quality, efficacious products every year.• Write up technical engineering reports to support the launch of new products.• Manage relationships with contract partners for new developments.• Lead investigations on current formulas to improve batch time, cost, and safety.
