IB’s relationship with this customer dated back over 10 years in Europe & now they wanted IB to partner with them in developing a global store concept & deliver their stores in China. Responsible for setting up processes from the day to day operations to interviewing candidates for sales roles & setting up & implementing the ERP system. I spent a month in China for this as well as shorter, trips back & forth. This involved meeting with the client to build a strong relationship & discuss how we could set up our procedures to best meet their requirements. 2 years on and the role now involves providing regular updates to the board of directors, carrying out detailed stock management & planning, system & process control, maintaining a strong client relationship, safe guarding the quality of look & feel of the global store concept as well as managing the sales & store rollout team in China. I am also working with the teams here in The Netherlands to develop other processes & reporting tools. My analytical skills along with my knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel have proven extremely useful with this & I have been able to implement a number of tools & reports throughout the company that have helped streamline & increase efficiency with many tasks. Process development - designing new and innovative ways of reporting and running the department particularly by introducing new Excel spread sheets that help speed up and streamline processes and maximise efficiency.
