Project Design Engineer and Project Manager - 7000 Series BMU's.As a project Design Engineer I was responsible for the complete design of the Building Maintenance Units (BMU's) for the following projects:China World Trade Center, Beijing.King Abdulla Financial District, Parcel 5.01, Riyadh.Prudential Center, Boston.Responsibilities include the complete design of the BMU's including all detailed conceptualization, calculations and 3D modelling. The bespoke nature of the 7000 range lends itself to a "start-to-finish" engineering approach whereby the Design Engineer is responsible for all design aspects of the system, rather than individual Engineers working on separate sub assemblies.Responsible for managing assigned draftsmen to complete detailed fabrication drawings, producing Bill of Materials, monitoring and updating ETC's and issuing BMU for manufacture.Project Management Assistance: Dalian Center, China.February – April 2013: Based in Alcala de Henares, Madrid. Assisted Madrid office with the company migration to Solidworks 3D modelling from ACAD, working with Production to strategize a global approach to manufacturing and production procedures.

Working as a Graduate Design Engineer I was responsible for helping the Senior Engineers with design and drafting work. This allowed me to gain valuable work experience and knowledge into the operations and works of CoxGomyl.

Statistically analysed and graphically plotted the assay results of geological samples (certified standards and duplicates), taken to establish the precision and repeatability of the laboratory used to assay the borehole core during a exploratory drilling program.

• Constructed down-hole histogram plots of the assay results for Platinum Group Elements (PGE) in core boreholes.• Computed the average PGE grade over selected widths in each hole.

• Researched the process of anodising used in the colouration of Titanium (Grade 4 and 5) dental implants.• Conducted an assessment and investigation into the presence of visual defects on the implants.• Performed various testing to determine the correlation between the associated variables (mainly voltage, current and surface area) and the depth, as well as spectrum, of the obtained colour. • Designed, manufactured and implemented a new anodising system, based on microscopic results found on test samples, to eradicate colouration blemishes on the Titanium implants.• Reported all findings and gave recommendations as to how the process could be further improved (including the addition of an automated jig, and precision controlled anode voltage).• Analysed the HVAC system and made recommendations as to an economical replacement system.

• Investigated the presence of clay build-up on impact aprons found in Hazemag horizontal shaft impact crushers operational in the brick industry.• Analysed the problem and investigated various potential solutions that may be implemented.• Selected a final solution to prevent the clay build-up blocking the impact aprons, causing downtime on the plants (namely: the application of heat to the impact aprons to provide an instant steam expansion at the material – wear part interface, thereby forcing the material from the plate).• Designed a heating system based on installation cost, runtime cost and energy efficiency incorporating silicon heat pads, to operate in the harsh environment. • Implemented and tested the heating system to quantify its degree of success.• Reported all findings and made recommendations as to how implementation should be undertaken on a large scale operation.
