I led the newly-created Analytics team through the London 2012 Olympic Games, working closely with a huge cross-functional team of analysts, risk managers, marketing strategists and journalists. I helped to bring the marketing and analytics teams together to create data-driven campaigns, in particular to change customer behaviour with the aim of reducing congestion in the city at peak times. I spearheaded the drive to bring our data, suitably anonymised, into the public realm.

Responsible for all revenue-sharing agreements between Transport for London and private rail companies. I designed and developed a model applying original algorithms to customer data in order to replace survey-driven revenue allocation methods, apportioning over £2bn per annum. I represented the interests of Transport for London in often difficult and complex negotiations with other transport providers.
