Director - Project Management
CurrentPurposeThe purpose of the role is to drive growth throughout Africa region. Growth is mainly achieved through new client acquisition and effective client management throughout the project and product life cycle. The focus of the role is revenue generation. Maintaining key relationships with senior business leaders has been an essential part of this role. ResponsibilitiesStrategy• Formulate a growth strategy for Kenya and the wider East Africa region.• Participate in the company-wide strategy process.• Identify and explore strategic opportunities and relationships.Media and Campaign Management • Develop campaign strategies. • Create communications plans. • Manage production of videos and animations.• Engage Media networks - editors, journalists. Finance• Ensure the achievement of revenue targets.• Collection of all outstanding fees due.• Prudent management of expenses.Process Management• Effective management of client projects (oversight).• Comply with all company process requirements.• Project conclusion and client engagement round-up.People• Build effective relationships with colleagues and peers.Governance and Control• Identify and manage all risks in areas of responsibility proactively.Client• Build strong relationships with new clients.• Maintain effective relationships with current clients.• Open new channels to acquire clients.Reporting• Develop suitable reports to enable leadership decision-making.• Comply with requirements for leadership reporting.Stakeholder Management and Communication• Drive the participation of clients and prospects in webinars and thought leadership studies.• Take action to develop the East Africa contact base.• Forge new strategic partnerships to drive growth.Government Advisory• Work directly with political leaders and governments around to implement reforms that improve the lives of their citizens
