About Duncan Koblas

In the spring of 2022, I graduated with a degree in Engineering Mechanics with a concentration in Computational Mechanics and a minor in Astronomy. I then spent the summer after graduation biking solo across Europe. This allowed me to realize the importance of discomfort when it comes to growth and learning. I believe that progress come more easily in new or unfamiliar environments and I hope to find that as I begin my career.I am best at projects where I can apply theoretical mechanical concepts to physical systems. My most valuable skills in these projects are my ability to foresee interference and quickly realize the merits of a solution. I'm intrigued by the applications of computer simulations to physical systems, but I am more captivated by the applications of these results.
