I provide Strategic Planning Partner support to University of York academic departments operating within the Health and Education disciplines as well as lead on a number of cross University initiatives.•Supporting the development of the University strategy, and leading on a number of cross University institutional and departmental strategies • Providing Strategic Planning Partner support to six Academic Departments, on all aspects of Planning and Strategy development, including undertaking option appraisal and market analysis, and developing implementation plans. Leading the development of plans for, and managing, restructures of departments; • Supporting, and providing analysis for, University working groups and committees; • Assessing and communicating the impact of changes in the external environment through regular briefings to members of the University Executive Board and to Academic and Support Departments, as required; • Working proactively with a number of internal departments (Academic and Support) and external stakeholders (e.g. NHS) to find solutions to common issues;• Project Managing large institutional grants (e.g. the £5.3m HEFCE PSS scheme).
