Develop vehicle specification and positioning for both Mercedes-Benz Unimog, specialised Actros and Arocs product for the Southern African market. Participate in marketing/promotional activities as well as providing technical advice/consulting with regards to application and operation of these vehicles.Primary contact person with regards to all enquiries and application support for PBS (performance based standard) vehicles. Occasionally do training and demonstration of specialised /complex vehicles. Frequently interact with customers and dealer partners to provide solutions to unique or application related challenges.

Research and develop extra heavy vehicle specifications for specialised application trucks. This encompasses vehicles for applications including but not limited to abnormal loads, mining, road trains, breakdown/recovery, construction and PBS vehicles. I also provide technical and marketing support of Western Star Truck and Mercedes Benz Actros SLT (Schwer Last Transporter) product.

Research, Develop and Specify commercial vehicle product for the Freightliner, Western Star and Fuso brands which is appropriate for the South African Market.

Market, promote and sell Western Star Trucks as well as provide aftersales support when required. Also was involved in importation, and customs clearing of new vehicles. Also handled homologation of new models.
