I am a scientist by training and a researcher by profession, with wide experience across several fields, perhaps best summed up by the fact that I have developed research proposals relating to agriculture, engineering, food science, conservation, industrial sustainability, defense, K-12 and Higher education, health sciences, justice, and social change. Entomology and insects-as-protein are my largest area of expertise thanks to my time as a research leader at Aspire, but I am very much enjoying how my current position at Texas State University is giving me opportunities to expand my knowledge of other fields.Areas where I focus my efforts and develop my skills: innovation, product development, project management, research team leader, funding strategy, proposal writing, budget development and administration, key client relationship management
