Having worked across many therapy areas and facets of medical communications, I would describe myself as a generalist, with the ability to quickly adapt to any challenge. I thrive in my roles as both a trusted advisor to my clients as well as a mentor to my teams. After graduating, I worked for 5 years in scientific, technical and medical publishing. Since then, I have been fortunate to work for a variety of agencies across the medical communications spectrum, most recently specialising in clinical trials. This has given me broad experience which has equipped me with the confidence to provide informed counsel to clients and colleagues, and to positively challenge thinking when appropriate. While my roles have primarily been in project and account management, I have proven editorial skills and strength in writing for audience. My most recent role was a hybrid position, where I had a leadership role in patient engagement as well as overseeing the development of various training and support materials for study sites. This allowed me to positively influence the quality of our editorial content through writing, editing and mentoring.
