Key professional skills and experience include:- Highly proficient in IFRS and UK GAAP accounting, and experience of US GAAP, with a proven record of reducing statutory accounts reporting times across my various roles, whilst enhancing the quality of the technical disclosures.-Preparation and review of US GAAP quarterly financial reporting in a $4bn turnover company dual listed on the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange.- Extensive commercial experience – including competitor analysis, project management of acquisition due diligence processes, investor relations, product launch experience, and negotiating commercial and legal terms with suppliers and new clients.- Management, and personal experience, of the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting & management information packs. A track record of improving the timeliness and quality of the output across my various roles.- Responsible for managing relationships with a variety of external contacts, including auditors, legal firms, HMRC, banking institutions, regulatory bodies, shareholders, key suppliers and clients.- People management experience of both high performing/technical teams, and junior team members.- Business partnering skills, specifically working with senior managers and directors to develop new product offerings and identify cost-saving initiatives, and submitting business proposals to the board.- Good presenting skills, with experience of presenting budgets and financial reports to senior directors and audit committees, providing technical training to accountants, and presenting competitor analysis to sales teams and directors. - Legal contract review experience, as a result of previously managing this function.
