As Vice President - Retail, Communications, Media & Entertainment at Hewlett Packard (Enterprise), I was responsible for all aspects of my portfolio, including HPE’s growth, strategy, financial performance, project delivery and client satisfaction. As the Chief Operating Officer for the South Pacific region - the recognised 2IC to the Southpac General Manager - I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, including oversight of financial planning, remediation of problem accounts and projects, implementation of governance standards, and achievement of client satisfaction. Managing all internal stakeholders, I developed strategy, oversaw regional P&L, and ran all forecast calls for APJ and worldwide. As the General Manager of the Commonwealth Bank account, HP’s cornerstone client in Asia Pacific, I managed all facets of the relationship with the client at senior executive level. I oversaw end-to-end service delivery to optimise service excellence and client satisfaction, and ensured that the contract generated the expected financial returns including allocated growth targets.I also managed the performance of 70 senior staff to optimise the contribution of 800 staff across all internal service provider groups, and defined and communicated account sales strategies that aligned HP’s capabilities with client needs.ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE:► Delivered strong FY09 and FY10 financial performance achieving in excess of 120% of budgeted operating profit in each year► Signed a major contract extension in the credit card business, resulting in a US150m contract through to 2017► Doubled HP’s client satisfaction score by launching a client satisfaction and cultural change initiative designed to emphasise and reward behaviours that lead to client complements► Maintained service delivery excellence, as evidenced by client survey, during a program that reduced the workforce by 10%

As the recognised 2IC to the Account Executive, I defined the Commonwealth Bank account strategy in terms of sales, delivery, productivity and team effectiveness.I pursued and closed major multi-year deals, negotiated significant add-on contracts, resolved significant disputes and developed and managed the relationship with the Bank’s business unit CIOs to stimulate demand for EDS’ services.ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE:► Provided account leadership to secure a six-year $US350m Enterprise Processing Services agreement► Led the team to renew the five-year $US310m End User Computing Services contract covering desktop, service desk and ATM services, and provided executive level leadership to the negotiation team► Led the negotiation of the US80m credit card bureau contract

In this role, I managed a business unit of 250 professionals and team leaders to deliver a range of services to Coles Myer, the Victorian Roads Authority, Integral Energy, Caltex, NRG Flinders, ABN Amro, SKF Bearing, and Exide.ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE:► Consistently achieved budgeted P&L with circa. US45m revenue.► Grew EDS’ business including personally leading the negotiation of the US75m HR BPO contract with Coles Myer, and renewal of US6m Cards business with Caltex Australia. ► Provided executive leadership for EDS’ take-on of services from IBM at the Victorian Roads Authority ► Seconded to lead the negotiation of the US51m renewal of the firm’s mainframe services business with South Australia’s government.

As Business Development Manager, I led a team that generated total sales of US135m across four major projects at the Commonwealth Bank.I also developed and implemented a credentials program, which emphasised EDS’ thought leadership in the airline industry and positioned the firm in the Qantas business executive’s office.

In my time at EDS UK, I progressed through various management roles dedicated to major clients, including British Airways Engineering, Aerospace and Defence, and Rolls-Royce. I was a key member of the negotiating team, which secured a US270m, 10-year outsourcing contract with British Airways Engineering. I led a service improvement program that elevated the account from under achievement against service levels to delivering excellent service.

In my 10 years at Rolls Royce, I moved through several roles, from Undergraduate Trainee and then Aerospace Engineer, working in compressor design and thermal labs. From there, I moved into a range of IT roles: System Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Leadership, and Senior Project Management.
