A former Police Officer of 30 years I have more recently gained experience in business development working in the Law Enforcement and Defence sectors. Taking previous experience and skills in good communications, negotiations and intelligence gathering to a new level and greater effect in pursuing strategic opportunities. Cultivating partnerships and relationships while identifying new markets for products and services.Taking advantage of training delivery opportunities I have expanded my experience of senior policing command course delivery into customer focused training on the products supplied. Always broad thinking and developing these occasions considering wider factors and identifying longer-term opportunities.With years of experience dealing with members of the public and fast moving life threatening situations I can think clearly under pressure always conscious of the personal impact of communicating clearly. Being credible and having a positive approach when engaging with stakeholders I use this previous experience to earn their trust and get buy-in with honesty and integrity at the core of all that I do.As a team player I enjoy supporting colleagues develop, enhancing success through nurturing the success of others.As a father, husband, son and friend my family life is as important as my professional one and a good work life balance is a must for me.
