I am an extremely motivated and determined worker who is currently in the midst of studying electrical and electronic engineering at Griffith University. In 2018 I also have obtained my diploma of Engineering, in which I specialised in the electrical branch, from Griffith College. I hope to move forward in the electrical engineering industry where ever my studies and opportunities take me. In my current professional life, I have had experience with project management by organising and starting a division within my companies’ business. I am currently a group leader for the free-running exercise classes run by Gold Coast Gymnastics club. From this experience I know how to manage and communicate to staff in a positive and productive manner along with making sure parents, children and staff are all confident with what they are doing and what is being done. This work environment has taught me how to grow from a team player to a leader and everything in-between. Even though I am new the industry and may not have as much practical experience, the experience that I do have is still valuable. The courses I have done at university have given me a wide base for me to specialize and hone in my skill set. Some of the highlights from these courses include; my time spent in engineering science which helped me develop a basic understanding of core engineering concepts and formulas; engineering fundamentals allowed me to engage in a 10-week project where we used design software such as AutoCAD to develop a 20ft transformable container home. That course also allowed me to acquire group skills and project management as I was the project manager for my group; other highlights include my programming course and microprocessor techniques courses which have enabled me to be capable of using ASM and C programming language. All these courses and more have helped me develop a base line for my future career in the Engineering industry.
