I have more than seventeen years’ experience working at the Ministry for Children in both frontline and leadership roles. My current role at Oranga Tamariki is Team Leader Transition Support.I am able to lead a team in the delivery of a high-quality service and am passionate about the work I do, particularly that involving rangatahi.A large part of my current role is to operationalise the Transition Strategy nationally by enhancing the skills and knowledge of those on the front line, and to further inspire their mahi. I am experienced in the delivery of te ao māori practice systems as well as the review and development of new ways to practice.
