Workplace Wellbeing Specialist
Current- Manual handling workshops – educate workers on lifting techniques to lower risk during manual work tasks- Musculoskeletal injury risk presentations - highlight areas of risk of injury during particular tasks- Manual task coaching – hone worker technique and surrounding environment to reduce injury risk- Workstation Ergonomic Assessments – lower injury risk and assist desk worker efficiency and productivity- Musculoskeletal risk screening – examine worker current physical condition and test for undying pathologies that may contribute to future injury- Health screening and consults – consultation with workers and supervisors to ensure proactive approach to employee health- Strength and conditioning – using a combination of coaching, screening and worker health goals to develop personalised programs for employees- Job role dictionaries/suitable duties registers – utilising wearable technology to examine movement components in high-risk work tasks with the purpose of quantifying and subsequently mitigating risk
