After years of working for an employer, I wanted to start working on other inspiring projects and meeting new people and businesses. With my years of experience in design and photography, I am certain I can help other projects in telling their story visually, and achieving the set goals.

As a senior designer at SBS Broadcasting, I was involved in many projects. For the app called Superguide (Veronica Magazine's tv and video guide), I was responsible for the interaction and visual design for the app. Also for KIJK (www.kijk.nl), the replay tv service of SBS Broadcasting, I made designs and alterations for the related websites and apps. Leading the design and interaction of the Hart van Nederland app (news show on SBS6), gave me the opportunity to work together with an external agency called Greenberry.Other projects I was involved in for design were S1.tv and some web shops. The last project I worked at before I left the company to start as a Freelance designer, was the redesign of the tv channel websites (SBS6, Net5, Veronica and SBS9).

After a period of traveling in Asia, I was asked to come back working for Veronica Publishing as a web designer and developer. At first, my main focus was designing and maintaining the websites of the two titles (Veronica Magazine and TotaalTV) they publish.Veronica Magazine, a popular weekly magazine, was famous as a tv guide. All the information of every broadcast were disclosed on their website. It was a good challenge to make a user-friendly interface for so many data. When the first smartphones were released, we were the first to make a tv-guide for mobile devices. There were two big challenges. The first challenge was, to select the most important information for the user, caused by the small screen size of the first smartphones. The second challenge was to make it a touchable interface.Not much later we made our first native apps (iOS and android). Many versions, years and learnings later, the app Superguide is downloadable in the store. The app displays linear and non-linear information added with news and articles.
