I am a full stack developer interested in the intersection business/tech in a company. The language to connect the two sides is data. I do my best work by understanding at a deep level all of the data available in a business, and then making this available through modern tooling such as BigQuery, DBT, Looker etc.. I use this data to provide actionable analytics to business operators. One example: I have used data in a warehouse to train a machine learning model to predict how likely it is that a user will convert. I then fed the predictions of this model back to Facebook/Google to optimise Ad spend, making the company more efficient at marketing at scale.I have also used data to influence product teams on what projects to pick up, ensuring expensive product teams do work that actually affect a company's bottom line.
