• Responsible for all aspects of the management of the Visitor Services, Car Parks, Facilities and Conservation departments of St Michael’s Mount, and the 60+ staff within them.• Building successful teams across each department, focusing on organisational health, inter-departmental cohesion and productivity with close financial management.• Working as an integral part of the senior management team to ensure that every service is run efficiently and is adequate to match expected visitor footfall.• Identifying, researching, planning and implementing new technologies that allow the departments and wider organisation to work more efficiently and cost effectively.• Management of the visitor experience and operation, ticketing system and admissions. Responsible for all messaging and visitor engagement, and the interpretation and signage from car parks to castle. • Working closely with the Marketing Department to ensure that the information visitors are receiving ahead of their visit is accurate and sets appropriate expectations.• Creation and management of visitor reports, visitor surveys and data analysis to inform strategic decision making.• Responsible for car parks communications with the wider community, managing the automatic number plate recognition system, parking permits, cleanliness and repairs, visitor flow and safety, group coach bookings and events management.• Management of the island and mainland waste and facilities, and all related cleaning and waste removal service contracts.• Planning and delivering preventative, proactive and reactive conservation for the castle and collection. • Ensuring efficient and successful delivery of conservation projects.• Ensuring the practicable and reasonable compliance with relevant health and safety statutes, regulations and directives, including the company safety policies.• Financial management for all areas of responsibility with an operational budget value of £3.2million.

• Management of the Facilities and Conservation departments to ensure the island and mainland operation were fully compliant with current legislation to guarantee safe and legal operation. • Management of all the waste generated by the attraction, two retail outlets, two catering facilities, three car parks, two office blocks and eleven residential properties. • Management of security and fire safety of the castle. First response to any emergencies and assisting emergency services when necessary.• Responsible for overall cleanliness of the site and facilities.• Responsible for preservation of the castle and collection.• Financial management for all areas of responsibility.• Supporting Lord and Lady St Levan with all aspects of their residence.

• Managing the completion of compliance data for all major construction, renovation and refurbishment projects (>£100,000) across the Priory’s portfolio of properties throughout the UK.• Working alongside Surveyors, Consultants and Contractors to ensure compliance with the ISO9001:2015 accreditation including monitoring of audits, non-conformities and corrective actions.

• Planning, developing and delivering environmental activities, events and training programmes for young people (aged 11–24) in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. The aims of the project were to improve and sustainably maintain urban green spaces for the benefit of local people and wildlife while offering personal development opportunities to young people.

• Planning, developing, funding, marketing and delivering environmental programmes for the local community, volunteers, school groups and other beneficiaries within Urban Biodiversity’s main project – the Newquay Community Orchard. • Planning and directing the activities teams of volunteers carry out on site ensuring they have varied, interesting tasks while improving the overall condition of the site.• Site surveying for small mammals and reptiles.• Promoting the orchard with blog posts about the activities conducted, focusing on different conservation topics and target audiences.
