• Developed an electrical feedthrough solution for use at extreme temperatures.• Developed an extraction process to remove a fragile stack safely from its housing with very tight space requirements.• Devised a set of tests and requirements for high temperature gasket investigation in order to evaluate various gasket materials and installation parameters.• Development of a Manifold system connecting gas inlets and outlets between the product and the system with a high focus on the flow dynamics.• Gained new experience of working with high temperature materials.• Learned to use Inventor and Vault to a high level.

• Design and testing of mechanical components and assemblies in headsets and headset accessories. Design and development of mechanical components for mobile phones including injection moulded and sheet-metal as well as keymat, domesheet, and Flexi PWB design.Design of the Audio area including sealing concept, leak holes and connection to PWB.Grounding spring design for grounding of metal components to PWB.Learned to use Catia to a higher level.Frequent visits with Foxconn and other suppliers in China for FOT and Assembly builds. Involved in the concept design of 2 programs and negotiation with ID designer.Attended numerous design related courses in Nokia including 2D Drawing, Tolerance Analysis, Geometric Tolerancing, Catia modelling, and Design of Plastic Parts.New experience gained in both plastics and sheet-metal materials. New process experience gained including ACF bonding, glass window manufacture, anodisation of aluminium.
