Currently focusing on Architectural and Structural engineering projects using Revit, Inventor, 3ds Max, Rhino and Navis Works to build the 3d models, create the detailed construction drawings and coordinate the projects all within a BIM environment. Still under development are a number of renewable energy projects including an Offshore Wind Turbine design and Wave Energy Convertor design (WEC). Completed Domestic Boiler/Stirling engine, Solar farm with parabolic dish/Stirling engine and some multi hull yacht designs.Past experience as a senior draughtsman, includes specialising in multi-disciplinary building engineering drawing on large construction projects with experience ranging from concept drawing, 3D modelling to general and detailed construction drawing of reinforced, prestressed and precast concrete, steelwork and timber structures using Revit, AutoCAD, Navis Works, Inventor, Solid Works & Rhino software.In the design office, working on a variety of prize-winning domestic, public and commercial buildings in the UK, including airport infrastructure, wind farms, offices, lecture theatres and developments incorporating sensitive heritage structures as well as major infrastructure projects overseas,His interests include: Engineering, Architecture, Sailing, Windsurfing, Cycling, Walking & Kayaking.
