As Managing Director I had overall responsibility for sales and marketing of our horticultural supplies, retail and farming business. Managing twenty full-time staff, seasonal employees and overseeing the operation of our farms in East Lothian, Kinross (1,200 acres), warehouses and regional sales depots. Highlights included: - Managing the relocation of the company from Midlothian to Kinross. - Development of crop planning software tools to significantly reduce production time. - Streamlining our haulage/logistics operation. - Developing an industry-leading eCommerce platform. - Developing the website for our industry trade association (TGA). - Participation in the Rural Leadership programme- Managing the successful sale of the business and farming operation.

After successfully raising Start-up funding through a number of Scottish Government initiatives I launched Staunch Industries along with fellow co-founder Will Besslaar. As account manager at The Bridge I had the pleasure of working with some great clients within an excellent team of creative, strategic and tech savvy people. Clients included:- Virgin Blue (Now Virgin Australia) - National Bank - Schering-Plough- Lots of interesting Start-ups.
