Advisory and data modelling role relating to Fast Stream assessment centre data using random and mixed effects models and other predictive analytics and data manipulation methods.

Academic role in the Department of Organizational Psychology at Birkbeck, the University of London. My duties involved running courses in organizational psychology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and Programme Director duties for the OPHRM (organizational psychology/human resource management) international programme. I also researched, particularly in the area of assessment and development.

The Centre for Sustainable Working Life (CSWL) is a school-level research centre in the School of Business, Economics and Informatics at Birkbeck, University of London. Here, I focused on the sustainability of working life through the development of healthy and resilient working people, as well as healthy, safe, and resilient organisations and communities. The Centre for Sustainable Working Life focuses on applied research, information dissemination and research related training in its area of concern. More specifically, the Centre seeks to:•To promote concern for sustainability in working life;•To develop world-class applied research in the area of sustainable working life;•To harvest, evaluate and disseminate information on sustainable working life;•To provide research-related education and training in this area;•To translate research findings into recommendations for policy and practice

Previously lectured at the University of East London in Human Resource Management.

I worked as part of the consulting and product development team at a&dc, based in the United Kingdom. My duties involved working with clients from a broad range of industry sectors on assessment and development solutions.

Research and teaching activities in this role included undergraduate classes in HRM, postgraduate teaching on organizational behavior, and assessment and selection. Responsibilities also involved teaching MBA classes with professionals from a range of large companies in South Korea, including the Samsung group of companies and the Seoul Metropolitan Railway Company. My employment in Seoul afforded me a unique international experience and has helped to foster a comprehensive understanding of intercultural issues in a unique organizational environment. Within two years, I was promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor.

My work with Meta B involved developing and delivering modules for management development programs for multinational organizations whose employees are required to work overseas. The focus of these modules was on cross-cultural communication and fostering skill-sets for doing business in foreign countries. Many of the clients I worked with were involved in the energy industry and needed to work in cultures very different from their own. Drawing on a model based on the latest research, my management development programs offered tools for preparedness when working in culturally-different environments and well as general skills in business communication.

ASSESTA are the largest assessment consultancy in South Korea and have garnered an excellent reputation for their broad spectrum assessment work across the public and private employment sectors. ASSESTA runs assessment programs for the Seoul Metropolitan Government and also for a number of educational facilities throughout South Korea. My work with ASSESTA involved product research and development, client relationship building, general management consulting, and acting as an assessor and role player on their assessment centers.

Teaching responsibilities included courses on human resource selection (postgraduate), performance management in HRM (postgraduate), general management (undergraduate), quantitative data analysis (postgraduate, using SPSS, AMOS, EduG, urGENOVA, and various other specialised applications). Experienced in supervising students at the Ph.D., Masters, and Diploma levels. Also experienced in teaching sizable postgraduate classes.

Beginning on a casual basis, which emerged into a full time role, the primary functions here were to co-ordinate and administer the psychological assessment of potential employees. Training and experience was gained in cognitive ability testing, personality assessment, assessment centre, and career counseling tools.
