I help develop solutions for decarbonisation in the hard to abate sector.In my role at Javelin I work on originating supply of alternative green products for existing and new customers across industrial, power and agricultural end users.My current focuses:- Developing projects to produce high fixed carbon biocarbons derived from waste wood and ag materials to replace coals in the metallurgical and ferro-alloy industries- Building a biochar supply business to restore soils and remove carbon with verified carbon removals- Supplying Poland with biomass to help reduce their reliance on coal and support a just energy transition- Exploring innovative uses for bio-materials in graphite and bio-methanol supply chains to support the EV and global shipping industries respectivelyI also look into all things climate policy and how they effect our business including:- The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism- The EU Emissions Trading Scheme and its relevance to industry and maritime- ESG and carbon accounting concernsAlways happy to connect on anything green.
