I am a senior software designer and development engineer with broad experience across the full software lifecycle from design through development, quality assurance, deployment, support and training.My experience covers many of the main development methodologies such as agile, scrum and waterfall.I have developed significant systems in object-oriented, procedural and declarative languages. The projects I have participated in span a wide range from database and information management, middle tier components, user interfaces and development tools.I work well as part of a team often mentoring less experienced team members to promote use of software engineering best practices and encourage creation of high-quality reusable code. I also enjoy working with end users and customers to understand their requirements, help them participate in beta trials, and training them to make effective use of the software systems that I have been involved in creating.I am passionate about creating reliable, high quality software guided by rigorous automated testing and code coverage metrics.
