I'm a people-driven recruiter who delights in helping others reach their fullest potential. I believe that the connections we forge in our careers allow us to channel our passions into bigger and better things if we work hard and treat each other with kindness and respect.A bit about me— I graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2017 with a B.S. in Media and Communication Studies. While in school I started working for the school's Communications department, where I learned to channel my passions for writing, photography and graphic design into the realm of organizational communication. I worked closely with the Director of Communications and the University President to craft messaging for our campus and alumni audiences.After JWU I went to work for William Mathewson Devices, a high-end music equipment manufacturer. As it is working for many small businesses, I wore many hats. I was the primary direct customer and dealer facing representative. I also did product photography and design, social media and email marketing, and worked with upper management to determine product demand and set release schedules. I learned a lot about manufacturing and marketing there, but the key element for me was identifying and filling customer needs. I was driven by the interpersonal element of my job. I delighted in exceeding my customers' expectations on a personal level.I then took my brand marketing, copywriting and graphic design skills that I'd gleaned from my previous jobs, and started working freelance for small businesses with a need for digital marketing assistance while deciding what my next full time career choice would be. I realized that as much as I loved marketing, the core of what resonated with me was the ability to reach people and make a difference in their lives. When I discovered recruiting, I understood that this role has great potential to make a direct and positive impact in the lives of others. By connecting with a person, recognizing their passion, building them up and getting them ready for the interview, you open up possibilities that might not have come to fruition otherwise. When the opportunity to work full time with a fantastic company like TriSearch came up, I was thrilled to get on board, to learn more about the trade and to feed my passion for helping others grow.
