From my early work in environmental protection, I made a career change to conflict management earning a PhD. in Sociology along the way. My professional work has focused on applying my expertise to individuals and organizations through teaching and through developing human and organizational resources to their fullest. As a university professor, I taught courses in sociology, psychology, human resources, management and leadership.I have been a runner and triathlete since my early 20's and have completed dozens of marathons and triathlons including the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I have traveled to many countries and have lived and worked in China and in Morocco. This dedication, perseverance, do-what-it-takes work ethic, international experience and global skill set offers considerable added value. I bring a great deal of lived experience to provide effective and highly personalized fitness training and wellness coaching to my clients. I bring all my experience to assist my clients as they move into and through their elder years. As a National Board of Coaching - Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) I have demonstrated the high-level knowledge and skills to provide outstanding aging coaching.
