Personal hands-on and practical experience of implementing Watson “bot” technologies through my “BotDunc” virtual assistant in Facebook Messenger and Twitter.     As IBM’s CTO for the Lloyds Banking Group account, I oversaw the technical integrity and strategy for this significant client and was personally responsible for the relationship with the bank’s CTO and his direct reports. Worked as a trusted advisor to the bank’s Digital Banking executives and led IBM’s role in the major redesign of the bank’s Internet-facing systems and the shift from Web to Mobile banking. I led IBM’s work around the transformation of the bank’s payments infrastructure and strategy based using IBM’s FTM product. This included leading a complex benchmarking process that increased the transactional throughput of FTM by over ten-fold. My work on this activity, over a two-year period, resulted in me being presented with a corporate award for Outstanding Technical Achievement.I was retained as a member of a small and highly-confidential advisory team to LTSB prior to and during its acquisition of HBOS. During the subsequent execution of the IT Integration programme, I oversaw delivery of significant aspects of one of the world's largest IT initiatives.
