Dealing with outstanding debts owed to the company, whilst planning for the future through creating cash flow forecasts and budgets. Salcombe Harbour Authority

Management of waterborne activities including, health & safety checks, directing traffic, monitoring & transmitting VHF communications, berthing of visiting boats, maintenance of harbour infrastructure & work boats, collection of dues, enforcement of harbour byelaws, provision of safety patrol & providing assistance & advice to all estuary users.

As the chairperson of the body I'm representing the concerns of the students attending the Accounting, Economics and Finance faculties. I have had a pivotal role in influencing the dean and head of the faculty in formulating policies leading to the introduction of improvements to the university's educational and social procedures and facilities beneficial to the student body. Started after I left school as a trainee on their management development scheme where I gained yet more insight in sales, stock control systems and team leadership within a larger corporation. I was trained to supervise in a number of departments around the store over several months where I dealt with products with a very short and tightly controlled ordering cycle. Morrison's also ensured a high level of cleanliness which meant i was able to achieve up to a level three in food safety hygiene

Employed on a seasonal basis as a senior salesman/technician in the main chandlery serving as internationally known south coast working and recreational port. The job requires an extensive knowledge of marine equipment and products whilst also having the ability to deal with both retail, business customers and maintain excellent relationships between debtors and creditors.
