Hi there! 👋 I'm Sarah and I’ve spent the last 20 years working in the digital marketing and content space. I’ve worked as a social media manager for a variety of brands, ranging from multi-national corporate companies to start-ups. I've also been a journalist, published an award-winning blog, and worked at The Courier-Mail and Quest Newspapers before landing a full-time job at News Corp, writing for weekly magazine, Brisbane News. Then the travel bug set in and I moved to South America were I worked as a freelance writer for two years. My work featured in a variety of publications including one of the largest women’s media brands, SheKnows, as well as Escape, Four Seasons Magazine, New York Magazine, and more. I also had a literary essay about life in Colombia feature in the book ‘Was Gabo an Irishman?’ published by Papen Press in 2015. Once I returned to Australia, I began working with Expedia Group and received a social media institute industry award for Best Corporate Social Media Team for some of the work I did with Wotif.com. Some of the brands I managed during my time at Expedia Group include, Wotif.com, lastminute.com.au, Orbitz, CheapTickets, Stayz and Bookabach, and have been tasked with creating campaigns both in-house and with agency collaboration including The Big Melon, The Festival of Wot, Aussie Town of the Year and the Uniquely Aussie Awards. I've also co-hosted Yoga and Writing retreats, and have been a speaker and guest panellist at events including the SHINE Business Women’s Conference.I'm now the co-founder and director of business growth network, Crecera.com.au, and I'm looking forward to connecting with other business owners looking to reach their full business potential.
