Virgin Media Business is the UK’s 2nd largest fixed line B2B telco specialising in voice, data and internet services to the UK’s public and private sectors. Entering the role at a time of significant business change, my brief was to transform Virgin’s B2B marketing from predominantly outbound marketing and sales to one based on digital acquisition. With an annual budget of £5m and leading a team of 18 the department delivered a 35% year-on-year improvement in business leads and initiated a re-brand.

• Carphone Warehouse (TalkTalk): Won LLU backhaul contract worth £10m revenue • Orange UK: Won core transmission network contract worth £40m revenue• AOL UK: Won access services contract extension worth £30m revenue

• 10th employee of UK subsidiary of Spanish telecoms incumbent• Responsible for new ISP business: narrow and broadband Internet services. > 2003: Won 10 new accounts achieving 160% of new business target• Account Management responsibility for ISP business worth £30M revenue per annum

• Co-founder of start-up software company – successful exit in ‘01
