As the Managing Director for Ippon Australia, a privately held, French technology company I lead a team that focuses on creating digital experiences for our clients that drive improved engagement with their customers. We believe that creating meaningful relationships is the key to long term business success and has the ability to transcend other approaches such as a biased price focus.In my role, I am responsible for the Australian Business and have the pleasure of leading a growing team of professionals across multiple disciplines including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Managers, Experience Designers as well as Software, Cloud, Data and Quality EngineersPrior to joining Ippon, my previous roles provided an amazing understanding of the capability of technology to not only transform existing businesses but fundamentally create new ones. During this time I have been fortunate to craft my career at Sun Microsystems, IBM and ThoughtWorks.In addition to my professional career, I have always been excited by the impact that startups can have on industry and have explored a number of opportunities. I also am a lead organiser for "Programmable" - the Australian software engineering conference which engages around 1,000 software engineers annually. Lastly, I also have a strong interest in primary production and am developing a pastoral property with interests in olives and ovines.My work experience has been complemented with formal education and I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as a Masters in Business Administration; both from the University of Melbourne.
