Building on my role as COO, I now have the opportunity to take the RN business to the next level, we've continued to develop products in new geographies, including a ten year partnership with JTB Communications Design Inc to develop TCT Japan in Tokyo and the launch of TCT Magazine in multiple languages including German, Mandarin and Japanese. We've also now launched two successful industry awards evenings to complement our exhibition portfolio. My next challenge is to prepare the business for further growth, building out a senior team to sustain the speed of development and maximise the potential for the business in all our key markets.

Assumed responsibility for day-to-day leadership of the entire RN Group spanning multiple media and event properties initially across UK and Europe. Starting point was a root and branch overhaul of products, processes and people leading to improved revenue and profit figures inside 12 months.Key achievements included Geo-cloning TCT Magazine and Medical Plastics News Magazine into North America, Establishing deal to provide TCT branded 3D printing content at CES Show in Las Vegas. Establishing TCT as strategic content partner for Formnext exhibition with Mesago Messe Frankfurt. Doubling floorspace of Interplas to 10,000m net. Trebling floorspace of TCT Show. Oversight of acquisition and integration of Med-Tech Innovation Expo and Magazine into the business. Oversight of acquisition and complete overhaul of Packaging Europe magazine. Creating Shanghai based JV with VNU Exhibitions Asia to develop TCT brand in Asia. Created partnership with SME to re-brand RAPID as RAPID+TCT in USA.

Strategic and operational management of newly created RNG Events Division. During this period I oversaw the acquisition, integration into the RN business and re-birth of the UK's largest plastics trade show Interplas, led the development of the TCT Show into a world leading additive manufacturing/3d printing event, including relocating event from Ricoh Arena to NEC and launched multiple niche technology shows in the UK and US.

Strategic business development and marketing role across TCT Group incorporating advertising sales on TCT Magazine and booth and sponsorship sales on TCT Show. Oversaw re-brand of magazine to TCT, re-launched TCT Show as a stand alone event, drove visitor and delegate marketing campaigns.

After acquisition from liquidators by the RN Group my role is simply to turn a great idea with potential into a profitable business. Luckily we were left with great people and leading them is fun. They've developed and audited a circulation from scratch, launched a new website, redesigned the print magazine, launched the Sustainability Awards program, developed content partnerships with some of the biggest packaging events in the world including Scanpack and Fachpack and in the near future new media and stand-alone conferences are on the roadmap.

A JV between Rapid News Publications Ltd. (an RN Group company) and VNU Exhibitions Asia. The vehicle by which the TCT brand has expanded into Asia. TCT Asia takes place annually in Shanghai every year alongside additional annual events in Shenzhen, China and South Korea. My role in this business is to lead and provide strategic direction to the Shanghai based team responsible for operation and execution of our Asian expansion.
