Working with internal stakeholders, I was able to put together a comprehensive sourcing plan by analyzing the supply chain needs, reviewing factory capabilities, and consolidating the factory and country base to meet the company's objectives. The strategic sourcing plan helped the organization achieve a cost-effective supply chain and ensured that the organization's objectives were met efficiently.Working closely with strategic suppliers negotiated a yearly raw material buy that supported the supplier's need for volume forecasts and companies need for consistent monthly materials. This initiative saved the company 100k in raw material costs. Implemented a "ship on time, ship complete" program with the global factories, which saved 300k in late delivery chargebacks. The program ensured that the company's products were delivered on time and in full, which contributed to the organization's success. I led a high-performing and talented team of over 20 people (7 Direct) across Production Operations, Vendor Compliance, Product Testing, Quality, and Strategy. I ensured that my team was motivated, engaged, and had the resources they needed to succeed.

Tasked with developing and formalizing the QA department for SGC. I was able to do this by implementing a comprehensive vendor onboarding tool to ensure vendor compliance, productivity, and quality control standards were met using AQL2.5. By selecting the suppliers, my team and I were able to grow and train a strong base of competitive and capable factories that are compliant with the company's guidelines and policies. Working with a global team of 40 (8 directly) in India, Vietnam, China, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We were able to improve our product quality and safety standards, which helped us maintain customer trust and loyalty.

RCA was a consultancy primarily for the outdoor industry. Our core services included functional outerwear, apparel and footwear, quality assurance systems and assistance in establishing manufacturing in Asia, Southeast Asia, Central American and Africa.We were a small operation and offered personalized service based on the requirements of our client. We partnered with clients on Sourcing, Production, Quality, Vendor Compliance and Product Development of innovative outdoor equipment and apparel globally.

Was instrumental in moving Klim products to Central America for fast-turn and shorter lead times. When researching new factory partners we were able to ensure that we had the right product with the right partner. By working closely with these factory partners, I was able to identify opportunities for collaboration and find ways to optimize our product lines. This helped us improve our product mix and increase our profitability.As part of my role, I analyzed risk management with new countries considered. By conducting thorough risk assessments, I was able to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This helped us make informed decisions and expand our business into new markets with confidence.

I was responsible for setting up the first Asia office of our company. This involved selecting the site, negotiating with the landlord, designing the office, and overseeing the construction. I also recruited and trained local staff, which helped us save over $2 million in operational costs. By hiring local talent, we were able to take advantage of their knowledge of the local market while keeping labor costs low.Through better production scheduling and vendor management, I was able to improve our on-time shipments by 42% and in-stock rates by 11%.
