I was selected among 20 of my peers to lead a team of mentor representatives in a month-long launch of the Time Warner Cable Residential programs in the Philippines contact center sites. In addition to training during the launch, I had to quickly identify and resolve technological and operational issues, following up to ensure their resolution. Lastly, and most importantly, I provided guidance and leadership to operations managers, team leaders and representatives as a subject matter expert through team meetings, individual coaching and floor walking to enable them to successfully grow the program and support themselves once we were no longer on site. As a Senior Instructor I developed and facilitated lesson plans to ensure the required curriculum was instructed, coached students on job critical skills, conducted and invigilated exams and provided feedback on student performances. Furthermore, as a Training Co-ordinator, I was responsible for developing yearly training plans at five different levels of instruction and auditing classes to ensure a high level of instruction was maintained . In both of these roles, I conducted annual Personnel Evaluation Reports to evaluate members’ achievement of goals, their performance, conduct and behaviour, their potential for advancement in their trade and their ranking among peers throughout Canada.
